Ward was the very first daughter born in MonroeLouisiana, on the 15th of April, 1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. After completing her high school studies she transferred to River Oaks High School in the summer during her junior year. She was a member of the dance and drill team. Following her graduation, she went to Northeast Louisiana University. Ward started modeling when she was thirteen. She left school to move into New York. She decided to pursue acting in the following years.
